I know how terrible the Boards are. I was targeted due to a malicious complaint by an ex husband as to have caused his exwife's death by giving opioids when as a matter of fact I had gotten her "clean" 2 years prior to her demise. But that does not stop the board. So they started digging and out of 13 patients, most of which were terminal or on hospice, one older lady was on chronic opiod therapy for decades. She was a victim of Fosamax Rx having suffered a pathologic fracture of the femur. All this occurred when opiod Rx was a must and pain was the 5th vital sign. The state board sanctioned me,I am on probation for 4 years, have to pay the board $ 2500 annually and participate in a PEP or Practice Enhancement Course through UCSD at an annual cost of $ 15.000 for the duration of my probation. The witch hunt does not stop there, my long term Med Mal carrier dropped my llike a hot potato and I had to scramble to get a new carrier.They only were out $ 50.000 for my defense. Currently the ABIM is threatening my Internal Med Board certification citing "unprofessional behaviour" You can't make this stuff up! A colleague of mine committed suicide last year due to the
Board's inhumane treatment. I endure all this humilation and financial pain so I can keep my license to serve my patients. I have an excellent standing and reputation in my local community.
If you passed the ABIM board and met the CME requirments so legally they cannot prevail. Every member of the ABIM needs to form a class action suit, and you will prevail.

How can the board be dismissed? Who has the authority to disqualify the whole board. Is there a procedure to induce this dismissal.
