Dr Kory. What if vaping was producing the same amount of “anecdotal” health observations we are all seeing in young people all around us? Would our “fearless” congressmen and congresswomen drag their feet around for years and act barely curious if anything was going on? I don’t think so. They would parade the CEOs of every vape company in front of their committees during prime time in dramatic fashion demanding answers and pretending to be the protectors of their beloved constituents that they are not. There is a pervasive, tribal-like cronyism that seeks to weaponize credentialism. Such cabals grasping for power seek to manipulate the course of science in the court of public opinion by legitimizing the tribalization of science itself.
