That has been discussed in the background. The issue is that beyond cost, our time is really tight, so if I were to be involved in both teaching and administration at an academic institution it would be impossible for me to keep doing what I'm doing now.
As a nursing student I learned diphtheria is a normal flora of womens’ personal anatomy, so I think we all are best to get the vaccine. Our professor wrote the microbe book we used.

I’m not sure they teach med or nursing students microbiology they way they used to, as broad spectrum antibiotics are so widely used now. (1975-78)
