I read in the news that for the second time this year, shrimp from Indonesia was recalled due to being contaminated with cesium 137. US Customs & Border Protection caught containers of the shrimp but only after Walmart had sold some.

One has to wonder how often contaminated food is consumed, and the resulting illnesses dismissed as a viral infection, or worse, cause serious lifelong health issues. Cesium 137 ends up stored in the muscle.

Google ‘cesium 137 shrimp for more info. And search for the consequences of cesium poisoning.

O scientific evidence that volcanic water has any health benefits over filtered water Iceland has volcanic water but the diet is much healthier.

Have never been sorry that as soon as tap filters became available I used them religiously. I lived in Norman ok. It turned out to have some of the highest levels of chromium and arsenic, both naturally occurring though, in the country. In nh, where I now live, there are many areas of high arsenic but also rampant river contamination from the mills still lurking in the beds. The mills shut down decades ago but it is still unsafe to eat the fish

Wonderful article! We’re presently using Kinetico whole-house and reverse osmosis filters. They work great.

Geoengineering (including cloud seeding and all its other manifestations) is a source of water pollution that comes down from the skies or from ground-based stations. It adds metals and all manner of chemicals to our air, water, and soils. Likely, these components are entering our drinking water systems too. (And, of course, geoengineering and related technologies are causing incredible disruption to natural weather systems.)

Few people are talking about this issue seriously, and even fewer are doing anything about it. Geoengineering is funded at all levels of government from state to federal, but mostly it’s connected to university research, military, DoD, and some private operations. Every citizen must insist this long-running and highly dangerous tinkering with our planet be DEFUNDED and STOPPED.

Dr. Clayton J. Baker has done a terrific series about Geoengineering at America Out Loud News: https://www.americaoutloud.news/author/clayton-j-baker-md/

We have a section on our Substack where you can learn more about geoengineering and take some action too: https://tinyurl.com/238cdbfd

In case you actually read these comments, I want to thank you for caring. As an average elderly person, I have to tell you this world today scares me for my great grandchildren. I use reverse osmosis water yet everything I do seems to be for nothing because there is always another danger to health. Always something else to be concerned about. It is so exhausting.

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

Agreed... All I can say right now Linda, is to hang in and hold on, I have something really big coming.. It will be in my book, which should be shipping in a month.. unfortunately it got delayed due to the enormity of what I discovered and had to write. The previous "version" I put on Substack is but a shell of what is has become. I promise, it will do a lot to allay your overall concerns..

While waiting with bated breath (truly), I would like to wish all the Kory’s and anyone/everyone affiliated with Aurmina a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy future.

Excellent article, all clear, in 95% of cancers, the source is environmental, water included. Thanks for sharing. Actually EPA is using CDS in some places to clean water

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

for sure! CD has been used to clean water for almost a century - quite a few cities in Europe use it

Thanks again for the knowledge and education on the topic ‘drinking water’ and for providing a rather easy treatment.

I am glad not to be responsible for municipal water treatment and reporting. Must keep the water flowing, a difficult task now and in the future.

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

100% - not a business I want to be in, knowing what is flowing. Wait til Friday's post where we "look into the sediment"

Where are the books i ordered? Please send out a status to those who preordered. Previous info said before Christmas... so whats up?

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

I drafted this letter.... Subject: A quick update on the book — and a thank you

Dear friends,

I wanted to write directly to those of you who’ve reached out asking about the book’s delivery timeline, both to give a clear update and to say thank you for your patience.

When I opened pre-orders a couple of months ago, I genuinely believed the manuscript was nearing completion. What I didn’t anticipate, and could not have predicted , was how much the book would continue to unfold once I committed to following the evidence all the way down. What began as a focused project turned into something larger, deeper, and more historically consequential than I originally imagined.

I made a decision along the way: to finish it properly rather than finish it quickly.

I’m now in the final stages of the manuscript and expect to deliver it to the publisher by Christmas. From there, the remaining steps, copy-editing, layout, proofing, and printing, typically take about a month. Barring surprises, that puts physical delivery in late January.

I know delays are frustrating. I also know that many of you didn’t pre-order a book so much as you pre-ordered this book, because you sensed it was addressing something foundational that has been missed for a long time. I take that trust seriously.

I can say this with confidence: the book you’ll receive is not the book I thought I was finishing two months ago. It is stronger, clearer, and more complete, and it makes claims and delivers insights I would not have been able to stand behind had I stopped earlier.

Thank you for your patience, your curiosity, and your willingness to let the work take the time it required. I truly believe it will have been worth the wait.

With gratitude,

Pierre

I had a feeling this was the case. And the delay is well worth the wait.

PS. I commented a couple months ago how Aurmina-treated water affected my psoriatic arthritis (which I've struggled with for over 50 years now), reducing almost all my arthritis aches and pain in just a few days. The update now is that ALL the psoriasis I had on my legs has also cleared up completely as well. It just took a few weeks longer to work its magic. I am so blessed and thankful for you and all the other wonderful people - both past and present - who have been pioneers in bringing this water treatment to light.

Thank you Dr. Pierre Kory. My parents, bless their departed souls, were very persistent in drumming into me and all my siblings, anything worth doing is worth doing right. Your book delays follow that same philosophy.

Roberta Stack's avatar

I was wondering as well.

Roberta, I recently drafted this letter and will be sending it to all. who purchased it at the moment I submit, which should be in two days: "Subject: A quick update on the book — and a thank you

I’m interested in the Aurmina, as we already have an RO drinking water system, but what about the water you use to shower and bathe? It would make sense those chemicals should not be on your skin, either.

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

Minerals would not be a method for that, it just purifies the water you ingest... the harms of shower water should be many many magnitudes below ingestion.. obviously not all risks can be mitigated in this world

Michelle Rabin Ph. D.'s avatar

Is there a way to determine if our local water is relatively clean? We get our water from Mt Hood in Oregon and last time I read their annual report, it looked quite good. Can you suggest what we should be paying special attention to? Obviously you have categories that I will investigate. Hood River is a farming community, providing 30% of the world's pears. Chemical pollution will be key. Our water comes from snow melt from the 12,000 ft. mountain. Our air quality is typically good unless we're getting hit with wildfire smoke, locally or from Canada or California. Thanks. Wishing you and Lisa a happy and healthy holiday.

Colin Driscoll's avatar

I assure most water quality reports will reflect Lake Wobegon logic where 'everyone is above average'.

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

TBH Michelle - answer would be Aurmina - add minerals, stays clear, good to go. Add minerals, turns yellow, precipitates - no bueno.

Roberta Stack's avatar

So if it turns yellow, then filter it? Our tap water with Aurmina at home turns yellow as does our NH home well water. Our RO water stays clear.

Pierre Kory, MD, MPA's avatar

agreed - if it stays clear, filtering not needed. If yellow - filter. Wait until Friday's post, where we dig into the sediment

EWG.org has an eye opening list of the U.S. water supply municipalities. After our son in law declared his Maryland county’s supply “totally safe” I read the truth from EWG about how their water supply had 20x the chemicals that were considered safe by EWG standards.

Michelle Rabin Ph. D.'s avatar

Thank you Michele. Yes, it's hard to believe who can be trusted these days.

Carol's avatar

Indeed. Thankyou Dr Kory. And I would add that glyphosate is another biggie: water soluble and ubiquitous throughout nature including our bodies. I remember reading some years ago that everyone in a certain UK city that was tested had harmful levels in their urine. ( any level is harmful in my book). And in another survey all commercial bread in South Africa that was tested had it.

Very much appreciate your information Dr. Kory.
