I can take a stab at the matrix tomorrow. I’m thinking your objective is twofold: 1) quickly interest the reader with where you are headed and 2) give a guide, the matrix, as to how pre existing research supports your thesis point by point.

I’m trying to nail this briefly. The thesis is “Thermarox-derived mineral solutions” show at least, and maybe better than ,Pareto optimal improvement along five (maybe the five) measurable dimensions of 1) plant yield 2) photosynthetic activity, 3) antioxidant capacity, 4) disease resistance, and 5) reduced uptake of pesticide residues.

Then do what you already do in nothing how the six studies support the dimensions. So five rows, six columns. Maybe the numbers go right into the cells, perhaps only + indicating positive impact

Which three? 1,4, and 5 I presume?

I would greatly prefer to see this laid out in tables.

Good idea. Will absolutely do that
