Could you outline how Pickax handles that scenario?
If a creator account is closed (either voluntarily or by moderation), will the creator still have a window to download subscriber lists or contact paying supporters?
Are there built‑in tools or policies that allow settling or refunding active subscriptions before the account is permanently removed?
Clarifying those steps publicly would go a long way toward reassuring both creators and readers about how Pickax balances risk management with fairness to users.
Getting permanently banned on Pickax was take gross and illegal activity on the platform. But, what would happen is that you get banned, but you can still login to your account. So you'd be able to download your email list or access your content, even though it would not longer be public. I'll explore this more with my dev team on how we'll ensure that you can access your content even in those hopefully rare and extreme cases.

Rather, he's supplementing what he's doing with his newsletters on Substack with the social media aspect of Pickax. Anytime he posts a new Substack article, it'll be promoted on his Pickax account.
I went to the link at 3:30 to watch the interview. It said I had to create a Spotify Account, then a Pickax Account just to check this out. Sorry hard pass for me. I will be 75 on the 28th. I am working to simplify my life. My days are too taken up with substacks, podcasts , YouTube topics. I love learning and reading, but it is at the point my eyes glaze over. I hope Pickax works out for people, but it is not for me. Winter has been fine for all the reading, etc, but I need to be physically doing and spending time outside doing work and recreation I love.

Therefore, I poured some in a glass jar with a stainless steel lid and store it in a dark cupboard. That way I can dip the measuring spoon into the liquid rather than pour it. My question is: will this cause any changes to the Aurmina solution?
Definitely not data mining. The entire purpose for our verification process is to be the most human centered platform on the planet, which means that we know who is a real person and who is a bot or burner account. After racking our brain for solutions, the only one we could come up with is using our verification system to be able to identify real human beings and brands with the blue verification checkmark. We have to check identity, age (at least 18) and based in America.

I am an avid networker - I love sharing the people I love. After much contemplation on this issue, I think my son came up with a great idea to bypass the Google Controller - create an independent NET-WORK - we all share empowering, ethical sites - anyone found being low frequency with unbalanced polarities (yin/yang) is booted out. Just like the original Internet, sharing links. And it could grow from there - maybe categorize the links; i.e. food, books, herbs, healing modalities, etc. - maybe a wiki of trusted resources - a private search (is that possible). Just dreaming - I'm not a programmer - it boggles my mind what those magicians can do :-)
I haven't heard of pickaxe before. I have however been using Nostr, which is a truly uncensorable platform. Notes are posted to many different relays (free and paid). The data is accessed by one of many clients. If one client stops working or starts censoring, you just use your private key to access your data and follows/followers in another client. It is a little more technical than other platforms and you have to make sure you don't lose your private key, but with many choices of clients (software) and hardware (data relays), nobody can shut you down.
