Thank you Robin for your kind and thoughtful response. I agree with many of the points you make and some I don't and that ok. I don't necessarily think my doctor thought he was acting in a noble fashion. I think he knew it was wrong not to treat me but couldn't for fear of losing his job. That is lack of courage and empathy. And for that…

I don't necessarily think my doctor thought he was acting in a noble fashion. I think he knew it was wrong not to treat me but couldn't for fear of losing his job. That is lack of courage and empathy. And for that I actually feel sorry for him but don't know if I can forgive it. He had been treating me for COPD for years and always gave me antibiotics and prednisone for flare ups,but would not treat this time because it was " viral ". I'm sure he never expected me to survive. He was probably waiting for me to end up on a ventilator in the hospital. I did get ahold of IVM but I was already 8 days into pneumonia but I did get over it, it was the coughing that blew out the lung. Also appreciate the info on D. Is there a difference between hydroxy and D3? Maybe the answer is in the links you provided. I'll check it out. 😊
With COPD I assume you are taking NAC. I use 600 mg 2X daily.
And just to be safe, I routinely use diluted Betadine, tsp/cup of water to gargle and follow with a Qtip of that in my nose.
I keep a bottle of prednisone at the ready and use 20 mg if I sense a buildup in my sinus, cutting back at 5 mg/daily. So far I've not needed the Zpac. My pulmonologist & I have a good understanding.
Aside from the 1st two shots, I have avoided more. At 83 I'm walking a fine line. My primary has read Ed Dowd's book given me hope.
Thanks HardeeHo, I recently started taking NAC w/ Glutathione 1000mg per serving once a day. I had a cough I couldn't get rid of and someone on substack recommended NAC, I can't remember who it was maybe it was you. Anyway, my cough went away almost immediately, I couldn't believe it! I'm so grateful for all the fine and caring people I have found here. I've been weaning myself off of all the pharmaceutical shit I've been taking and I feel much better for it. 3 more prescriptions to go and I'm done! Again thank you for your concern, I really appreciate it!😊
You are aware that COPD is progressive and incurable, thus we must do our best to slow its progress. I found Mucinex expensive and while it helps, NAC has been effective as I discovered it on COPD forums. Just passing along my experiences. Quite a community within these comments.
Hi Porge, thanks very much for your appreciative response. Everything is explained at: https://vitamindstopscovid.info/00-evi/ . If you understand section 02 then you will know far more about vitamin D3 and its 25- and 1,25- hydroxylase derivative compounds and how the immune system uses the latter two than most doctors or immunologists. Please don't be put off by the length of the explanation. It is not as complex as many aspects of biochemistry - but it is a thorough explanation which many people wlll be able to follow.
Your doctor failing to treat you, or refer you to another doctor who would treat you, for *any* reason at all is an egregious failure of their professional responsibility. I regard it as a pesonal crime. To the extent it is part of a global pattern of behaviour which harms and kills millions of people, I regard it as part of a crime against humanity.
If sufficient doctors had stood up to the government and licensing boards over these official policies of suppressing good treatment in favour of lousy quasi-vaccines, expecially without prioratizing good nutrition, then the government and the regulatory boards would have folded and the world would be a vastly better place.
Likewise treating people who have inflammatory conditions, or many other illnesses, including COPD, with drugs which weaken innate and adaptive immune responses to viruses, fungi and bacteria (as is the case with prednisone) while at the same time not ensuring that you are supplementing vitamin D3, omega 3 fatty acids, magnesium, zinc and boron at least (https://aminotheory.com/cv19/#08-boron) is not doing all they can to support your immune system. Some doctors and non-doctors figure this out. Every doctor is capable of figuring it out and they all should.

Yes, quite the community! I've also read some articles on nebulized glutathione for COPD. I think it was pubmed. Just Google nebulized glutathione.
Regards. Don't think I need that yet.
