With Sabine's latest paper: long covid/long vax conditions associated with reduced Bif, combined with your observation that minerals are required for the bif to be re-created - it makes a great deal of sense why the minerals might be important for your long-covid/long-vax patients who (probably?) have little to no bif.

It will be interesting to see the results of your trials - "restoring the bif" as a plausible mechanism for fixing long covid/long vax.

Was it just accidental that the bioweapon (covid-19) killed the bif?

Hello Doctor. I recently began using Beam Minerals Electrolyze and have noticed a slight improvement in dry eye syndrome. Also, I had a positive hydrogen result yesterday in a breath test for SIBO and was prescribed Rifaximine for 10 days. I am reluctant to take any antibiotic, but the doctor assured me it's only active in the small intestine. Can you comment on this, please?

As I considered your work today, Doc, I thought of the Physicist, Budwig, who was using various combinations to cure cancer for many folks. I actually used part of her theory, in a test on myself, and ingested clay. It worked. Redmond Clay sells a product said to be quite useful, and I have used it as well. Budwig asserted that clay can change the electrical charge of harmful bacteria infecting the gut, rendering them harmless. Budwig Protocol of course has been rejected by Pharma (and Google AI), but is said to have changed the course of disease in a large number of people. I have used it, to great benefit, with no harm. All minerals matter. Clay is simply finely divided minerals, formed in great mass by the Flood. In the Bible, Genesis Chapter Six briefly describes the Flood. All the mineral deposits in the world were formed, deformed, reformed, or otherwise affected by the Flood.

So, Doc, you've made the scientific argument in favor of lacto fermentation of sauerkraut, green beans and carrots. Yummy. Healthy. Easy to do. All easy to grow. A better biome also means better brain function apparently, and that means it is also then easier to discern truth from lies. Pharma is going to hate you Doc, for raising the I.Q. of all your subscribers using minerals and elements they cannot patent. The W.E.F. stated that backyard gardening is bad for the climate... (bull crap). Next Chapter please, and pass the fermented snacks. I thank you, and my biome thanks you.

I'm a bit confused. Recent essays are about the importance of minerals and I thought Aurmina was a product to restore minerals, but on the FAQ at the Aurmina website it says, "No, Aurmina™ is not a mineral supplement. While it contains trace minerals, its primary purpose is to purify and enhance the quality of water, not to serve as a dietary supplement." Elsewhere it says that it adds trace minerals.

Is this legalese so that it's "not a dietary supplement"?

Or is the proper response to this question, no comment?

Thanks!

Somewhere in between. Aurmina is regulated by the EPA for its water-purification function. When used as directed, it is not a dietary supplement and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. While the formulation contains trace minerals, the levels present at the directed dilution are too low to provide nutritional benefit.

Separately, we are developing a different product also derived from Themarox, which is intended to be registered and used as a dietary supplement with higher mineral concentrations. That research is ongoing, but early results are highly encouraging :)

The obsession with antibiotics in the medical profession is one big reason why people end up with gut dysbiosis.

This cut, slash, and burn medical idiocy ignores the wisdom of the body and is why we got high rates of cancer, autism, and heart disease.

Dear Dr. Kory Have you heard of diatamcous earth? It is a powder harvested from old lava flows.

and has been assigned very powerful healing potentials by some healers.

What are your thoughts on this?

I’ve been taking Diatomaceous Earth for about five months and my gut has never felt better! It’s like a light bulb got turned on from my stomach to the end of the road. Minor constipation though…so Mira lax in the morning helps. Seriously, my gut feels better than ever before.

Diatamascous earth is antiparasitic. It kills fleas by destroying their gut.

My husband ran the largest Diatamaceous Earth plant in the world. They are silica, live in sea beds. They are ancient. They have ash on top then 30 feet of DE from a volcanic event. Water comes back and then they grow again. Stratified growth grown in bodies of water. He doesn’t know about healing power. We had access to bags! Some people used for insect killer in flower beds. Microscopic diatoms. Sharp edges-but microscopic, that’s why they kill insects.

It’s cool that it is (was) a living thing. I guess sand isn’t a good substitute. The diatamaceous earth isn’t very scratchy on your face. It’s the perfect scrub if mixed with a colloidal material.

Sounds really really good to me and not surprising - however, it would be missing one of the "magic components" of Shimanishi's complex - all minerals are sulfated and ionic

It’s not a recipe. It’s a purchased scrub from Skin Ceuticals. I’ve made a minor attempt at making a scrub but it was not worth messing with. Just buy it. I mix my scrub with a regular cleanser, a 50/50 ratio. It works very well.

I found it does work on bugs like nothing else outside of DDT.

Good point is that it is a natural product and harmless UNLESS inhaled.

One cautionary note: Please wear a mask when using because the sharp particle of the microscopic minerals WILL HARM YOUR LUNGS!

Marilyn F's avatar

Good point about the mask. Inhaling the fine, jagged particles would be terrible for the lining of your lungs.

Kathleen Nathan's avatar

So when you put it on your face how do you protect yourself?

Putting this on your face seems like a terrible idea to me....Once it dries you would inhale it right into your lungs.

Or don't you inhale any more?

Marilyn F's avatar

Haha! I’m sure it does sound crazy. It comes in a regular scrub by Skin Ceuticals. It’s called “Micro-Exfoliating Scrub.” It’s in a gel base so it’s moist.

Like I mentioned, I’m a skin care nurse. Using a scrub to gently exfoliate daily is a good idea. It allows products to penetrate more fully since you’re removing dead skin cells that block products from penetrating.

It also makes your skin look fresh since new skin cells develop when the old ones are removed. Your body responds to the exfoliation by producing more collagen.

Collagen is produced anytime there’s an injury. It’s how our body heals the wound. Every wound goes through the same process of healing.

Yes and no. When I make a probiotic yogurt culture, I use half-and-half, milk/cream and inulin which is really food from Agave or chicory containing minimum minerals. The yogurt culture thrives just fine on these minimum ingredients and produces a highly populated ingestible probiotic yogurt culture. If you don't first have these healthy bacterial (and even healthy micro-fungi) probiotic cultures living happily in your gut, you won't be able to absorb minerals. No one can live without a healthy bioflora. On a cellular count, they comprise more than the number of cells in your body! Antibiotics, food preservatives, alcohol and even 'Va¥', especially the recent poser one, degrade and destroy this one critical component to health.

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life!” John 8:12

Disagree with "you won't be able to absorb minerals" - minerals come first, bacteria second. Has been this way since the birth of life itself

Expand full comment
A T's avatar

Sure, but minerals are unavailable to both plants and animals without bacteria and micro fungi. One reason that breastmilk is so important for babies is that it is full of good bacteria that the baby must have to thrive. Minerals in rock deep in the soil are broken down by the soil microbiome and traded for sugars by micro fungi interacting with the roots of plants. Without micro-organisms, minerals are inert and unavailable to living organisms both plant and animal. This is also why organic chelated minerals are absorbed where elemental minerals are not. Calcium carbonate for example is very poorly absorbed if at all whereas calcium ascorbate or acetate (organic containing carbon) is better absorbed. The bacteria and microfungi in the gut process or convert these minerals to organic form and make them available for absorption. Not trying to argue but just trying to make the point that you can't live without your bioflora and it should not be downplayed. Of course we need oxygen to breathe but it won't help us if we don't have lungs - as analogy.

A T , I made the L returi strain yogurt , using the half and half , but I used the high processed half and half , I made 6 batches , but I got scared . I know I can get organic raw half and half , but it's a lot of work . But after taking the home made yogurt for 3 months , I think I got benefit from it .my stomach is much better , I have IBSd for decades ,I did have to have to get my minerals right too . After eating the yogurt for 3 months , I had some symptoms that alarmed me , no idea what was causing the symptoms ,but I thought it was the daily yogurt . I will have to give it another chance . as I am much better .

For coating to stop inflammation in a UTI or bladder infection you can use marshmallow root tea. Also same principle for IBS. Mucilage coats and soothes. Dysbiosis has its own symptoms. Finding the right probiotic is important. A brother of mine found goat yogurt to work well for him. Energy for 200+ pull-ups in his mid 60’s.

I find parsley and mint tea soothing.

Hi Sharon – thanks for your note.

I am no expert but I simmer the half-and-half for a few minutes then let it cool to under 100°F or 37°C before adding the probiotic. You can simmer it with the inulin no problem.

I just finished making a children's probiotic yoghurt as well as a batch of L. Plantarum that is supposed to be good for detoxification especially of micro plastics.
